A Walk in The Sun — Some winters ago I had a vision that moved me deeply. It was a story about a vampire named Nicholas Justine whose immortal life and journey became a part of my soul. I promised myself that one day I would write his story. I remember that same afternoon sitting by the window and jotting down my ideas including the Prologue and a few pages of the first chapter. Then like so many of us do, I placed my silent passion in my bedside draw where it remained but not forgotten.
Several years later I opened the Vampire Lounge & Tasting Room. A small intimate place that reflected the romance and immortal charm of our wines. It was there one night beneath the soft chandeliers and old world decor that Nicholas Justine entered my world again. That evening after the lounge had closed I decided to stay there until sunrise. A rainy night, a glass of wine, a pen and my journal, and I began to write A Walk in the Sun. A year has passed since that magical night, and it thrills me to be able to share my novel with you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
